Understand the distinction
An appliance can have several operating modes with different purposes and durations. Comparing a number from one mode with another product’s different mode may be misleading. The relevant question begins with the service you need it to perform.
Put it in your home notes
Read the model’s own manual and note the mode associated with a published figure. Keep capacity and operating conditions visible. Do not substitute a supposedly economical setting where the manufacturer’s instructions or the actual task require something different.
